DNS Kit is a free mobile app for iOS and Android that lets you check DNS records, monitor email authentication health (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and track DNS propagation across 35+ servers worldwide.
DNS Kit is free to download. Manual tools, diagnostic explanations and a limited number of hourly monitors with alerts are free. Optional Pro subscriptions, when available, add more monitors, faster checks and longer history.
DNS Kit supports A, AAAA, NS, MX, TXT, CNAME, SOA, and PTR record types.
DNS Kit checks your domain's MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records and scores them out of 100. Points are deducted for missing records, a DMARC policy of none, SPF records that allow any sender or exceed the 10-lookup limit, and weak or revoked DKIM keys. A deep scan also deducts for blacklist listings and for mail servers that lack STARTTLS or relay mail for strangers. The score summarizes completed checks. Always read the findings: a high score can still need review, and an incomplete lookup does not prove a missing record. DNS checks do not guarantee inbox delivery.
DNS propagation checking queries your domain's DNS records from 35+ servers located around the world to verify that DNS changes have been applied globally.
Lookups run in real time and results are returned straight to you. To understand how the tools are used we keep anonymised, aggregated usage statistics: a one-way hash of the domain, a hashed device identifier, the tool used, your platform and country. We do not store the domains you look up in plain text, and we never sell or share data.
